From a 1u server...to a secure suite
Co-location, where we provide racks in which you can place your own equipment, gives you complete control over your server configuration, plus you have the reassurance of knowing your hardware is housed in a highly secure hosting environment.
As with everything else we do at TDM Group, our service offering is completely flexible. We can provide fully scalable server co-location from as little as a single unit, or a half-rack, right up to full or multiple racks in secure suites at our UK data centres. We can also manage your co-located hardware for you.
If physical access to servers is a prerequisite, TDM Group’s full-rack and half-rack co-location services allow clients to freely access a fully configurable, locked cabinet with capacity for up to 42 units. This is ideally suited for companies that need to house multiple servers but own their own hardware. For the protection of your business, to access servers in situ requires security registration and the granting of a biometric entry card.
With a single unit, you won’t have access to the hardware within the secure area, but we can help by providing a service to remove the hardware, make it available to you in a separate area, and subsequently re-rack it.
