Backup and recovery
In the event of a major disruption, you must be able to bring back the vital data and information that you have stored on your servers. As a straightforward security measure to protect your business-critical data, we recommend you use our backup service. This also has the advantage of freeing your staff from what is an important but essentially routine and time-consuming task.
Through TDM Group’s centralised network backup facility, based on Veritas NetBackup and StorageTek technology, we can back up your data on a daily or weekly basis, or as required. The data held at one data centre is backed up at another centre and stored securely for a specified period of time to provide excellent resilience.
As the backup service is network based, restoration is easy to access and quick to restore when required. With this option in place, we’ ll be able to restore data should your operating system become corrupted due to a hardware failure, as part of the rebuild process.
