TDM Group and The Childhood Trust Join Forces in Combating Child Poverty

Here at TDM Group, we are committed to ‘giving back’ and firmly believe it’s our responsibility to help those less fortunate than ourselves, especially the most vulnerable: children.

That’s why we joined forces with The Childhood Trust on December 2016, to support its work with grass roots charities in alleviating the impact of child poverty here in London, where our own UK operations are based.

Working in 3 key areas

To date, the trust has helped over 65,000 children through partnerships with charities throughout London. It aims to meet children’s practical needs, support their emotional needs, and offer them inspirational experiences and opportunities.

We have dedicated fundraising activities and other support initiatives towards helping the Trust’s projects. We’ve already fundraised for its Summer Give campaign by donating £10 for each TDM Group customer satisfaction survey returned. With matched funding from other charities, our donation helped to raise a total of £4,600 to support vulnerable children during the upcoming summer holidays, when vital safety nets such as free school meals and after school clubs disappear.

TDM Group and War Child

War Child’s ambition is simple – they want to change the world.

TDM Group’s ambition is equally simple – we want to help them.

We are proud to support War Child as our chosen charity partner. As part of this partnership TDM Group are dedicating charity fund-raising activities and other support initiatives towards helping War Child and their ongoing projects. War Child have directly helped tens of thousands of children across some of the most dangerous places in the world and their aim is to reach millions more. War Child works in Afghanistan, Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of Congo, Iraq, Uganda and most recently with Syrian refugees in Lebanon and Jordan. These are some of the world’s most volatile areas, and here they help the most vulnerable children who are too often forgotten in the aftermath of conflict.

At TDM Group we value innovation and War Child have this skill in abundance. You might say that they are a small charity with big ambitions but they deliver the kind of agility and support that we admire, and they do it to help those who need it most.
